Thank you for your interest in borrowing one of giant floor maps of Missouri. The alliance houses three maps that are available to be checked out by educators. The two maps created by National Geographic and are 17 x 21 feet are geared towards elementary students and have general features and larger towns.. The other map was created by former alliance coordinator, Dr. Shannon White, and is 15 x 15 feet and comes in two pieces. While this map is smaller, at a scale of 1 inch = 3 miles it is more detailed and contains county lines and most towns.
Due to the high demand across the state, we ask that you limit your check-out period to 1-2 weeks. We also request that the maps are returned three business days after your event date so that we may have time to prepare them for the next school or organization.
We are currently taking reservations through August 31, 2018.
When requesting a map, please check the calendars below to ensure that is not already being used elsewhere. Before we are able to accept your request, the following pdf document must be filled out in it’s entirety and mailed to email@example.com. This document includes the reservation request and user agreement. Please read carefully before submitting as a few things have changed.
For grant reporting purposes, we ask that you fill out the following survey within one week of returning the maps.
If you are a for-profit organization interested in using the map, please contact the Missouri Geographic Alliance at 573-882-8370 or firstname.lastname@example.org for pricing details.
