The Missouri Geographic Alliance is looking for presenters for our annual fall conference on Geography and Geographic Education! Anyone with a passion for spreading the love of geography is welcome to submit a proposal. Got a recent geographic project you’ve been working on? Or perhaps you want to show off how geography ties back to your area of expertise? Come and let others know! We would love to have a wide variety of topics as part of the conference!
The Conference will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Animal Sciences Center on the campus of the University of Missouri. Presenters will be asked to pay a reduced registration fee of $25. This helps us to offset the cost of lunch, equipment rentals, and conference materials. The main target audience will be K-12 teachers, pre-service teachers, and high school and college students, but anyone is welcome to attend the conference. Presentations are asked to be no more than 30 minutes long (25 minutes would be ideal). Presentations may be lecture-style, hands-on demonstrations or activities, roundtables, interactive discussions, etc. The Proposal form may be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MGAFall2014
