Arizona State University is hosting a week long professional development workshop for middle-school teachers. The academy, to be held June 22-26 in Tempe, Arizona, will train participants on engaging students on sustainability issues and urban development.
Two-person teams of teachers can apply; 13 teams will be selected, and the academy will cover lodging, food, and travel. A $1,000 stipend is also provided to help participants develop projects upon returning from the academy! Here’s the program website, which has more details and instructions on applying.
