College and university educators are invited to share their GIST and geospatial tech course syllabi into a national database project hosted by the GeoTech Center. Here’s a link to the repository.
A note from Dan Goldberg and Forrest Bowlick at Texas A&M Geography on the database:
Lots of people are teaching GIS Programming of one sort or another, but there is currently little guidance or scientific research on the best ways to do so. This project will begin to address these gaps to provide our community with fundamental theories on teaching these topics successfully, and will hopefully result in a series of teaching materials and best practices that can be freely utilized in one’s own courses.”
